These terms cover the services we provide at The Pig Out BBQ, including our smokehouse menu, braai catering, and live-fire events. By booking a table or placing a catering order, you agree to the conditions below.
We operate a craft smokehouse offering wood-fired brisket, pulled pork, lamb shoulders, boerewors rolls, and side dishes such as creamy coleslaw, baked beans, and mieliepap. Our catering arm provides on-site pitmasters, serving equipment rental, and menu planning for weddings, corporate events, and farm-style parties. All meat is cooked low-and-slow over wood in our 500-litre offset smoker.
Table reservations and catering orders are confirmed once we receive your details and any required deposit. For catering, we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your date and allow for proper meat preparation. Menu adjustments for allergies or dietary restrictions must be communicated at the time of booking.
We are responsible for delivering the agreed menu, maintaining food safety standards, and arriving with the necessary equipment and staff. You are responsible for providing accurate guest counts, ensuring the venue is accessible for our smokers and serving stations, and informing us of any site-specific rules or restrictions.
While we take every precaution in food preparation and service, we cannot be held liable for allergic reactions if the relevant dietary information was not shared before the event. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, venue access issues, or circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided on the day.
You may cancel a catering booking up to 72 hours before the event for a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours may forfeit the deposit to cover food and preparation costs. We reserve the right to terminate service if a client violates safety guidelines, behaves abusively toward staff, or misrepresents event details.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
